Professor John Rasko AO is this month's guest speaker with a scientific seminar entitled "Getting something for nothing? Intron retention downregulates gene expression". Professor Rasko is Director of the department of Cell and Molecular Therapies at RPA Hospital and Head of the Gene and Stem Cell Therapy Program at the Centenary Institute, University of Sydney.
