The current Ebola outbreak in West Africa is the largest and most devastating in history. In October 2014, the World Health Organization reported that there are now 8376 cases and 4025 deaths from the disease in Guinea, Liberia and Sierra Leone since the first case report in March 2014. The spiralling epidemic in West Africa is a global health catastrophe in which we are all stakeholders. Controlling the epidemic at the source is the highest priority.
Help is needed! Beds, food, disinfectants, rehydration solutions, and personal protective equipment for the frontline healthcare workers… Every dollar can make a difference!
Join us on the UNSW Ebola Day of Action to get a better understanding of what is happening in West Africa and take the opportunity to make a contribution for Ebola outbreak control!  Visit the Ebola Day of Action website for details on the program.
