CCIA is honoured to have Professor Andrei Gudkov speak as part of the CCIA seminar series.

Professor Gudkov is Senior Vice President of Basic Science and The Garman Family Chair in Cell Stress Biology at Roswell Park Cancer Institute, Buffalo, New York. He earned his doctoral degree in Experimental Oncology at the Cancer Research Center, USSR and a Doctorate of Science (D.Sci) in Molecular Biology at the Moscow State University, USSR. He has authored or co-authored 135 scientific articles and holds 27 patents.

His general research interest areas inlcude Drug discovery approaches, gene discovery and molecular targets for cancer treatment.
