The definition of primary and secondary glioblastoma

The Lowy Cancer Research Centre is honoured to have Professor Paul Kleihues speak at the Centre's monthly Seminar Series.
Professor Kleihues is The Cure for Life Foundation Brain Cancer Research Visiting Academic at the UNSW Lowy Cancer Research Centre.
He is a leader in neuro-oncology, having published more than 300 peer-reviewed papers, with a focus on the pathology and genetics of tumours of the nervous system. He has extensive editorial experience, was Founding Editor of Brain Pathologyand PubCan, edited the third edition of the WHO Classification of Tumours and was a Senior Editor of Clinical Cancer Research. He is the recipient of numerous awards, including the Clinical Research Award of the Federation of European Cancer Societies, the Gold Medal of the French Cancer League and the Johann Georg Zimmermann Medal for Cancer Research. He received honorary doctorates from the University of Lodz (Poland) and the University of Freiburg (Germany).
