Lowy Cancer Research Centre Seminar - Prof Vincent Hascall (USA)
The Lowy Cancer Research Centre is honoured to have Prof Vincent Hascall speak as part of Special Seminar presentation in conjunction with Graduate School of Biomedical Engineering. Dr Hascall is the Section Head of Connective Tissue Biology in the Dept of Biomedical Engineering & Dept Orthopaedic Surgery. Cleveland Clinic, Ohio and a staff member in the Dept of Biological Chemistry at Case Western Reserve University, Cleveland, Ohio Dr. Hascall’s specialty interests include connective tissue biology and the role of hyaluronan in inflammatory pathologies, including diabetes and asthma. He is a member of several professional societies, including the American Society of Biological Chemists and the Orthopaedic Research Society, among others. He helped co-found the International Society for Hyaluronan Sciences.
