We are honoured to have Dr Peter C. Burger MD present the first Lowy Cancer Research Centre Seminar for 2014, "Small Cell Glioblastoma" Dr Burger is Professor of Pathology, Neurosurgery and Oncology and Director of Surgical Neuropathology at Johns Hopkins Hospital, Baltimore, USA and the current Cure For Life Foundation Brain Cancer Research Visiting Academic at the Lowy Cancer Research Centre. Over the past 35 years, Dr Burger has made a wide range of contributions to the field of neuro-oncology and is one of the world's leading authorities on the classification and diagnosis of tumors of the central nervous system.
