Memorial for Emeritus Professor James Lance, AO, CBE, MD, FRCP, FRACP, FAA

Please join UNSW's Chancellor, Mr David Gonski, AC, senior members of UNSW's Faculty of Medicine, and fellow alumni at our memorial for Emeritus Professor James Lance, to share stories and remember a life well lived, and to the fullest. This memorial will be held at 2:30pm on Friday, 23 August 2019 in the Council Chambers, The Chancellery (C22), followed by light refreshments.
Founder of the Department of Neurology within Prince Henry Hospital and at UNSW, Professor Lance passed away in February this year at the age of 92. One of the doyens of Australian Neurology and a figure on the world stage, he was the first Professor of Neurology in Australia and the founder of the first academic Department of Neurology in Australia.
