Lights, camera, action....brain freeze! Do you suffer mental blocks, lost for words or just simply camera shy during interviews or confronted by media crews to talk about your new research breakthrough?

In this two-part seminar, Susie Hamilton from UNSW Media Office and Bob Beale, media liaison expert from Faculty of Science, will provide you tricks and tips in how to successfully deliver your research breakthrough as well as protecting its potential IP opportunity at the same time.

A collaboration between the faculties of Medicine, Science and Engineering have resulted in the launch of the Postdoctoral Academy Program. The Program is a professional development and education series of monthly discussion style workshops delivered by UNSW senior staff who are leaders in their field followed by a networking opportunity to meet your fellow researchers with light refreshments provided. We encourage everyone to attend as many seminars as possible.

It is a great opportunity for researchers to meet their contemporaries in these fields across the University, to get to know each other, build professional networks and find new prospects for collaboration.
