Predicting response and resistance in melanoma

Professor Helen Rizos, Head of Department & Professor Cancer Cell Biology Biomedical Sciences, Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, Macquarie University
Professor Helen Rizos is a cancer cell biologist interested in tumour suppressor proteins, oncoproteins and tumour signaling. Her work combines genetic analyses of melanoma tumours with functional molecular and cell biology in order to understand the role and regulation of genes and cellular pathways that influence the development and therapeutic response and resistance in melanoma. She joined the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences at Macquarie University in 2014, is an NHMRC Senior Research Fellow and Head of the Department of Biomedical Sciences.
Lowy Seminar Series 2017
Prof Rizos will be available for lunch and one-on-one meetings with interested researchers after the seminar. If you would like to schedule in some time, please email (ksomers@ccia.unsw.edu.au) by Friday 3th of November.
