Professor Peter Gunning is a cell biologist who has discovered new principles of cell architecture and applied this knowledge to the development of anti-cancer drugs. He has also served as a member of the Boards of both the NSW Cancer Council and the Cancer Institute NSW (current) and has been the Chair of the Research Committees of both institutions.
